Current duties include: Implement and manage security authentication systems (IBM Policy Director),
3270/mainframe emulation (IBM Host on Demand, Personal Communications, Mocha, Vista), session servers
(IBM Communications Servers), most running on RS/6000's using AIX and providing load-balancing, failover
and disaster recovery; Rewote the Host on Demand engine for
simplicity, single signon and to meet our exact needs; Oversee corporate web servers
(MS IIS, IBM HTTP Server, Apache); Maintain corporate domain names & digital certificates. I bring
together all our web-enabled systems and make them available to our internal users, Internet users
and users on our Texas 240 county network system. Userbase consists of 2,200 employed users plus random Internet customers.
Previous duties include:Provided for web content filtering (Finjan, Surfin Scout),
web/proxy log reporting (WebTrends), web page developement (First and "mostly" current Internet
Site), graphics and animation design, developed web interfaces to ODBC databases, SNMP & ICMP network monitoring systems.
I started as the first of 15 network administrators implementing
the first network using Token Ring, IBM OS/2 LAN Server, OS/2, DOS and Windows 3.1 clients.
Went through several OS/2 Server upgrades. Lead the conversion from Token Ring
to Ethernet and from OS/2 to WinNT. Implemented network printing and backup & disaster recovery systems.
Systems: IBM AIX Firewall, IBM Policy Director, IBM Host On Demand, IBM Communications Server, LDAP,
SurfControl, Finjan, MimeSweeper, WebTrends, IIS, HTTP Server, Apache, DNS/WINS/DHCP, etc.

Developed an automated PC system to update accounts with fund transactions using
synchronous communications. Supported PC users and maintained a Novell Netware 3.x Network.
